Wow.
So Sherwin Schwartzrock does an article for one of his local newspapers in Minnesota . . .
And it gets picked up for distribution by the Associated Press.
Which means any newspaper that gets the story as members of the AP can print it, if they so choose (in my understanding -- please correct me if I'm wrong).
And they have . . .
This is cool for a variety of reasons.
1. It's been picked up all over the place. A man in Kansas contacted me because of the story. My wife's granny (we call her, well, Granny) called my wife because she saw the article in the Chicago Tribune and read the article over the phone to my wife. And I'm hearing more reports everyday.
2. In the article, Sherwin is very specific about the reasons he draws his comics.
For the record, Sherwin is the artist bringing ArmorQuest to life, ArmorQuest being Community Comics's fantasy series that will see release in comic shops everywhere in July. If I were in Hollywood, I'd say it was "Star Wars meets Narnia" or "Pilgrim'sProgress meets The Matrix" . . . you get the idea.
And the reason Sherwin draws comics (and ArmorQuest, specifically) is to create entertainment that points to Christ. And Sherwin's relationship with Christ is front and center in this article.
How cool is that?

And if the fancy strikes you, point it out to your local paper. :)
